Elberfeld, IN – Phenix Specialty Films and Success Warrick County announced today the construction of a new Phenix Specialty Films facility at the North Warrick Industrial Park near Elberfeld, IN. The company is a premier supplier of food packaging materials with several existing locations across the country.

We are excited to be locating our new technical service hub and distribution facility in Warrick County. We were looking for a site with forward-thinking local leadership, a strong work ethic and a strategic location with good access to interstate transportation. Warrick County is the perfect fit for the future of our company,” said Joe Dobinski, Managing Partner of Phenix Specialty Films.
Phenix already has a presence in the Southwest Indiana region, supplying food packing film to a sundry of local companies. A groundbreaking for the new facility will be held on Tuesday, October 27th at 11:30 AM.

Phase one of the new Phenix facility will be 10,500 sq. ft. and house a technical center as well as warehouse and office space. The company hopes to expand in the future, bringing more high-paying jobs to their Warrick County facility.
“Indiana leads the nation in manufacturing job growth because companies like Phenix Specialty Films are finding success and expanding here in our state,” said Indiana Secretary of Commerce Jim Schellinger. “Phenix Specialty Films’ growth in Warrick County will bring new high-wage jobs to the community and further strengthen the company’s Indiana presence.”
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered Phenix Specialty Films up to $400,000 in conditional tax credits based on the company’s plans to create up to 23 new jobs by the end of 2025. These incentives are performance-based, meaning the company is eligible to claim incentives once Hoosiers are hired.
Phenix Specialty films joins a growing list of tenants at the North Warrick Industrial Park which is already home to North American Lighting, Pepsi, and a shell building under construction that will be available for lease in 2021.
